Eunmi Conacher is a Nanaimo artist who works primarily with oils and acrylics. She attended Hong-Ik University in Seoul, Korea, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in ceramics and art history. She also has a teaching certificate. She attended post graduate courses in Ceramics at The University of Sydney, Australia; and did a research program in ceramics at Tsukuba University, Japan.
She taught Art Theory and Ceramics in Korea. She came to Canada in 1996 and settled in Whistler, where she and her husband operated a small business until 2003.
She moved to Nanaimo in 2004, where she renewed her interest in art, inspired by the natural beauty of Vancouver Island. She became an active member of the Nanaimo Chapter of The Federation of Canadian Artists in 2008. Since then she has been painting and attending classes and workshops in the Nanaimo Area.
