Born in Montreal, Quebec, Helene painted and sketched since she was a child. She retired in Qualicum Beach in 1999 and has been painting regularly since that time. Helene is a member of and Resident Artist at the Old School House (TOSH), in Qualicum Beach, BC. She is an Active member and a past president of the Arrowsmith Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists and an active member of the Nanaimo chapter of the FCA. She is a member of Oceanside Community Arts Gallery in Parksville, BC and of the DeCosmos Art Group. Her paintings are held in private collections in Canada, the US, Germany, Belgium and the UK.
