"Creating art has always been my passion. Happily, my concentration now is in painting, particularly in watercolours, acrylics and oil pastels. The subjects which I choose vary each day and cover a wide gamut of ideas."

Alda has lived on beautiful Vancouver Island since 1993. Her formal education was in Art History, in which she earned both a B. A. and an M. A. Painting and Applied Design were an important part of those studies.

In addition, she has been fortunate to have travelled in Europe, Asia and North America. Both of these factors have given her a wealth of inspiration.
