"My paintings are impressions of nature as reflected in colourful landscapes and waterscapes. It is my hope that each image I produce will be powerful in its ability to pull the viewer in."
Sharon was born in Nova Scotia and being part of a military family, moved frequently. She continued this pattern in her adult life, living on three coasts and in seven provinces/territories of Canada. Until recently, Sharon was active in the health care industry, having obtained a Master’s of Science degree in 1990.
Sharon has lately become involved in the art world, painting colourful landscapes using acrylics. Water, with its varying temperature and reflective qualities, is a predominant theme in her paintings. Sharon has displayed her work at venues on Vancouver Island, in Vancouver, and at the Paula White Diamond Gallery in Ontario, and recently won an Award of Excellence for her painting “Heading Northwest II”.
Sharon lives on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
