Jeanne grew up on a small dry farm in central British Columbia, along with her two sisters, numerous dogs, cats and horses.
She had much freedom to explore the country side either walking or riding borrowed horses and grew to love my time outdoors.
Jeanne attended the University of Victoria to pursue a teaching career with a major in Art.
In 1982 Jeanne, her husband and their two children purchased a farm in the Cowichan Valley.
For nearly 30 years they had a wonderful life creating a beautiful successful farm.
In 2009 they retired from this adventure moving to a much smaller acreage nearby.
Throughout all the years Jeanne has continually worked at perfecting her art practice, taking many workshops with knowledgeable artists, entering professional art shows and participating in art groups .
Jeanne is an Active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and a Signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society.
