Dyan Myhr

Dyan Myhr, AFCA

Born in North Vancouver BC, Dyan's formative years were spent moving around the province. She married her highschool sweetheart in 1972 and settled in the city of Terrace, BC. Now retired, they now reside in Ucluelet BC.

INITIALLY self-taught, Dyan began attending workshops in 1989 and has continued to do so over the years. She has worked in most of the art media, her favourite being watercolour. Her work encompasses a varied subject matter.....wildlife, landscapes, totem poles, aquatic life and now, due to her interest in old world belief systems, she is getting to know some ancient deities. Dyan's art is eclectic and transformational.....using shapes and strong vibrant colours in an effort to evoke an emotional response and promote a sense of connection.....to everything. She has participated and placed in various juried shows over the years and has exhibited in. many gallery showings and in many public venues.

DYAN works out of her playroom, BLUE CROW STUDIO, in Ucluelet BC.
