GENERAL MEETING SATURDAY, MARCH 17

TOM SHARDLOW - "WOOING THE JURORS"

Tom Shardlow, one of our own , will be giving a digital presentation on "Wooing the Jurors". Sounds like something we all want to know about.

Tom has been winning awards since High School for both his painting and writing. Tom attended what is now known as Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and later UBC in the Sciences, and worked as the Field Research Biologist travelling to many beautiful and wild places.

In recent years, I've had the privilege of receiving guidance from some very fine painters. In watercolour I studied with Mel Stabin in Amsterdam and Grant Fuller at Whisler, BC. David Langevin explained the inner mysteries of acrylic paint. Workshops with Mike Svob and Brian Buckrell, provided expert advice on landscape composition.
