Michael Tickner
Contemporary/primitive acrylic Artist
Michael has been a professional Artist for 42 years. Anyone interested in who the artist was that painted the 8 ft. Orca that was erected in Port McNeill? Michael Tickner. His largest mural is 30’ by 10’ placed at the Richmond Hospital.
Although not doing a demonstration of his painting for us, He will be bringing a series of Paintings and prints for us to view. He will be discussing the process of being a working successful artist. He has kindly agreed to hang some Art in the Art 10 gallery in August as well.
Hope everyone will come out for this social event to have a chat with Michael, an instructor, Artist and writer. Michael has resided in Nanaimo with his wife Alice since 2015. sj
