"I recently watched a movie on Netflix about famous New York fashion designer Halston. I admired his authentic creativeness and his ability to maintain his dignity. The inspiration for the piece came from there. The painting is a tribute to Halston. As such, I wish the viewers to recognize and remember his talent."
EUNMI CONACHER, BFA, AFCA "I am a Vancouver Island artist. I attended Hong-Ik University in Seoul, Korea, graduating with a BFA degree. I became an active member of The Federation of Canadian Artists in 2008, and an associate member in 2015. I describe myself as a contemporary impressionist & expressionist artist. My desire is to create paintings which bring energy to the canvas. My use of color, form, and texture is intuitive. My hope is that the viewers connect emotionally with the painting in their own way. The result I strive for is a painting from the heart."
