Bev Robertson is a professional oil and Acrylic artist who has been painting since 2012 . Bev's work is a celebration of nature's beauty with particular focus on floral subjects. Her paintings capture the intricate details and vibrant colours of flowers, bringing them to life on the canvas. Bev finds endless inspiration in the textures and forms of petals fromthe ruffles of a peony to the veinting in a rose petal. Her ability to capture the light that glows on a flower or shines on a glass jar is a testament to her skill and passion for her craft.
Artist Statement:
Painting for me, is a way to capture the beauty of nature and bring the moment to life.
. While enjoying painting a variety of subjects, I have discovered my true love lies in painting flowers.. My goal as an artist is to capture the light,whether its shinning on a glass jar or glistening on a lake, or showing the delecate transparency of a petal. When someone asks me how I painted the light ...I know I I've accomplished what I set out to do as an artist, by bringing that moment to life for the observer.
