Brenda Matsen

Originally from northern British Columbia, Brenda now resides on Vancouver Island. Growing up on a farm and living in northern BC fostered a passion for observing nature, animals and people in the environment they live, work and play in. She enjoys the challenge of creating realistic images using various mediums including coloured pencil, graphite, acrylic and oil. Brenda enjoys taking her own reference photos and working from them and life. Brenda's work has been accepted into international online shows. Brenda is a current active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
