Artist Bio:

Beautiful memories of growing up on the North Shore with the Pacific Coast on my doorstep. Remembering weekly walks to my art teacher at a young age, learning as I go but mainly how to mix oil paint to achieve luxurious clean colours. I was infatuated with English countryside scenes, progressing to seascapes then pet portraiture and finally, with the love of my garden, florals. Rich strong colour and contrast is my preferred style.
Attending FCA art shows and Galleries in Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo and Sooke keep me on my toes with new paintings.

Artist Statement:

Many reasons why I love to paint, appreciation and an addiction for creative expression, through form and colour. It truly is a part of who I am and cannot imagine life without it.
