Artist Bio:

I have been an artist for most of my life. As a young woman in Toronto, and again when I moved to the west coast in 1973, I decided fabric would be my medium. I opened my own store in Yorkville in the early '70'sand another in Gastown when I moved west. I made a living, but lost my Art.

I moved to Vancouver Island in 1975, and I feel we do live in the best place.

I worked with Circle Craft Co op from 1973, both on the board and

organizing shows. After 30 years of fun, exhilarating and tiring production, producing wonderful pieces, and selling them around the world, I knew I needed a change.

I now paint on canvas with acrylic paints. Detail, Colour and Patterns are what drive me.

Fun, experimentation and creating are on the agenda now.

I enjoy the arts community, and devote time and effort to further the threads that connect us.

Artist Statement:

Do people who have an artistic bent see the world a little different? I think so, For me... Details and Colours.

Colour was always my passion, and is the common thread

in everything I create.
