I was born in Germany and received my education in Germany and Austria. In 1959 I immigrated to Canada and settled in Victoria, BC where I continued my profession as a Dental Technician. In 1971 I established my own Dental Laboratory with a partner and sold it after 30 years.

Since retirement, I have focused on learning more about Art. Watercolour was the first medium that took my interest. After several years I switched to Acrylics and treated it like watercolour, with some success.

I have taken several courses from Artists like Deborah Tilby, Brian Simons, Joanne Thomson, Rodger Garbutt and Barry Rafuse to name a few.

In 2013 I moved to Nanaimo with my wife and feel very much at home.

I have exhibited at Look Victoria, Sidney Fine Art Show, Sooke Fine Art Show, and the Saanich Peninsula Arts & Craft Show.

While living in Nanaimo, I have exhibited in the FCA Nanaimo Chapter Fine Art Show as well in the Ladysmith Waterfront Gallery.

My main interest in the arts are Landscapes, Seascapes and Florals.

Lately, I am enjoying Abstract.
